AJ's blanket
Some friends recently had a new baby boy, and I got busy with the knitting needles making a gift. The blanket was made completely without pattern or plan, using random bits of leftover wool in a range of blues. I put some fabric around the edges to make it a little more hard wearing.
Helen's Shawl
A colleague was diagnosed with breast cancer, and I wanted to do something. I thought a nice lacy shawl could come in handy on long days in the hospital. Something pretty to make you feel better and warmer at the same time.
Christmas Balls
A good friend sent me a belated Birthday present, just as I was wondering what to make as Christmas gifts this year. Perfect timing! These are really quick to make, and fun, so quite a few people found one or two balls in their Christmas presents. Including Ane, who sent me the book of course. I suspect the present didn't come as much of a surprise for her this year...
Prize winning baby jumper
This little baby jumper won 2nd Prize in its category at the 2011 Penrhyncoch Village Show
Richard's winning jumber
I knitted this sweater ages ago for Richard, but it didn't fit quite right and so he doesn't wear it. But the judges at the Penrhyncoch Village Show liked it, and gave it first prize!
